From the President Q4

Greetings,

With the success of our recent Congress & Conference in Dallas behind us, we are re-energized for our future endeavors. Between the creation of “InfraGard U” and the recent establishment of our webinar platform, we are excited to see what the future looks like for InfraGard. Add to that our upcoming rollout of InfraGard 360, our new platform that will allow you to customize your own dashboard and individualize your InfraGard experience, and you can see that many changes are on the horizon. We are moving swiftly into a modern era of communication.

The collaboration we have seen this past year between the IMAs and the INMA, coupled with our working relationship with the FBI, makes this a very impactful time. We recently spent five days at Quantico synching up with the needs of the Bureau, and planning our national strategy as an organization. While there, we met with the cyber folks regarding Cyber Camp in a Box, and are thrilled to let you know the Bureau shares our enthusiasm, and will support our efforts in the field. The INMA is seeking financial support for this project, so if you have any ideas, please send them to me or to our resource committee members. If you or your company would like to sponsor a cyber camp in your area, we would be happy to put your name on it.

Our new webinar capability will need content, so please submit your ideas or classes to your IMA leadership, and they will funnel it up to us. It is our goal is to hold one event per week on the system. We are very lucky to have many SMEs within this organization, and are excited to have a place where we can shine a light on your brilliance.

With all of us working together to markedly improve InfraGard, the sky is the limit. So many members are dedicated and resourceful people, and we are so grateful to have you on our team. Please know that we appreciate your efforts, and we look forward to making your dreams for this program a reality.

Sincerely,

Maureen O’Connell, INMA President
